Refund policy

1. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), received the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement. You may use any means of communication for this purpose, including a letter or email.

You may also submit your notice of withdrawal via the digital withdrawal function provided by us in the customer area.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal in a verifiable manner before the withdrawal period expires.

2. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us, and the delivery costs relating to items for which you have not exercised your right of withdrawal).
The refund will be made within 14 days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. 
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods – whichever is the earlier.

3. Returning goods
You must return the goods to us within 14 days of the date of your cancellation. Please ensure that the goods are suitably packaged for return. You will be liable for any damage caused by inadequate packaging during the return journey.
Returns must be sent exclusively to the following address: Ceramique Peinture EI, 138 Micon, F‑31230 L’Isle en Dodon (No collections from parcel shops or collection points)
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.
You will only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is attributable to handling that was not necessary for the purpose of inspecting the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

4. Exclusions from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:
    • There is no right of withdrawal for business customers (B2B).
    • There is no right of withdrawal for private customers outside the European Union.
    • Goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly tailored to their personal needs
    • Sealed goods which, for reasons of health protection or hygiene, are not suitable for return if their seal has been broken after delivery
    • Digital content not supplied on a physical medium, provided you have expressly agreed that we may begin performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period

5. Special notes on ceramic products
Unfired ceramics (‘biscuit ware’) are susceptible to stains and discolouration. Please wear gloves when unpacking. Soiled or stained items can only be returned at a reduced price.

6. Damage and issues
Please check your order immediately upon receipt. Contact us straight away if:
    • the goods are damaged
    • the goods are faulty
    • you have received the wrong item
So that we can investigate the matter and offer a solution.

7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return the goods under the cancellation policy and then place a new order.

8. Pre-orders
When placing a pre-order, you are purchasing goods that are not yet available. You may cancel a pre-order that has not yet been processed at any time. Once the order has been processed, the cancellation rules set out above apply.

9. Subscriptions
With subscriptions, you receive recurring deliveries. You can manage, change or cancel your subscription at any time via the link in your order confirmation.
For each delivery under a subscription, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies from receipt of the relevant goods.
