Control
Integrated base and casters for more ergonomic work
Set with 7 kiln shelves and 42 kiln posts

The kiln from the European brand LAC offers excellent quality and is significantly cheaper than Rohde or Nabertherm kilns.

  • Frontloader with door hinge left side
  • Heating on five sides (all sides, door and bottom) for a homogenous distribution of heat
  • Kiln ventilation to prevent steam condensation during combustion (ventilation opening in the lid and air intake flap)
  • Kanthal APM heating coils for long service life, long-term stable Alsint tubes
  • All metal pieces are made of stainless steel
  • High-quality insulating materials (low energy consumption)
  • Solid-state relay (improved operational continuity and quiet operation, minimal disruption to neighboring installations)
  • Perfect finish, technical equipment and operational safety

504 litre combustion chamber
Maximum temperature: 1280 °C for ceramics (stoneware and earthenware) and porcelain, recommended for an operating range between 700 and 1200 °C

With or without metal base
This makes the oven 54 cm taller, allowing you to work in a more comfortable position for your back when loading/unloading (you can see the red metal base in the photo).

With or without wheels
The extra cost for casters is very low, but they give you complete flexibility to move the oven, even just to clean the floor. Since the oven is already heavy when empty, it's even heavier when filled. Casters therefore make it much easier to move. We generally recommend opting for casters.

With or without set (kiln shelves and kiln posts)
The kit includes 7 interlaying shelves, 21 round kiln posts (40mm high), and 21 round kiln posts (100mm high), all stable at high temperatures. This is generally sufficient for stacking all your ceramics in the kiln.

Control options:

  • All controls: Accuracy of 0.1% (maximum oscillation of 3°C)
  • Under normal conditions in ceramic painting studios, especially when using our earthenware and glazes, the most affordable option Ht40AL is sufficient. It allows you to achieve the firing curve we recommend. The other controls offer the additional advantage of being able to save multiple programmes. The TC75 or TC95 controls also allow control via a mobile phone/tablet or PC.
